Powder Coating:
Powder coating is significantly more durable than conventional paints. It is extremely resistant to chips, abrasion and heat up to 400 F, UV light, fuel and chemicals - up to 10 times more durable than ordinary paint. Powder coating eliminates runs, drips and sags common with paint finishes. Also, corrosion resistance properties are difficult to achieve with other methods or materials. A wide selection of colors is available including OEM, translucent, and metallic. Powder coating is environmentally friendly; there are no solvents or hazardous material used.
Ceramic Coating:
I.C Powder Coating can coat your parts with a high Temperature Metallic Ceramic Coating that creates the most Durable Finish or any Type of Coating. Capable of withstanding Temperatures in excess of 1300 degrees Fahrenheit. Polishes to a high luster stainless chrome appearance that will not blur or fade up to 1300 degrees. It will last 14 times longer than chrome & 150 times longer than high temp paint when subjected to salt spray testing. The coating can be applied to steel, cast iron, aluminum or stainless steel.
Parts Cleaning:
Because the powder adheres electrostatically, it must be applied to a very clean surface. It will not cling to old paint, primer, most metal fillers or rust. Chemical stripping and/or sandblasting of the surface will be done by I.C. Powder Coating, as well as, removal of parts and pieces that may not withstand the heating process.
